I never meant to cause a commotion. But I thought people should know.

I don't usually come to this forum - why would I. I also don't like be the center of attention. However, I can have the photos scanned if that is what you wish. I can promise you my story is real. And, yes, my identity is hidden and yes, I was a follower of ML's protocol. I did nothing to bash ML and wish him no harm. I actually learned a bit about soil from him even though my tomatoes were a bust this year (not his fault, just the weather) and came to appreciate the advice regarding quality fruits and vegetables and how to better preserve my produce. Although I will say my nose and taste buds served me better than the refractometer I purchased.

I prepared the ML drink according to his specifications and drank them twice daily, sipping throughout the day. And while I can't say with certainty that this is what led to my condition, I can say that the drink and a pinch of Epsom Salts with meals were the only new things I had introduced. I didn't tell my doctor what I had been drinking until he told me it looked as though I was drinking Drano and then I thought it prudent to disclose that information to him. And while he was most unhappy with what I shared, he cannot and would not say that that alone was what caused my condition, though he did caution me to stop immediately. And I agree, I'd rather err on the side of caution.

The reason that I seem so cheery is because a) that is my nature and b) I'm feeling much better since the onset of crippling pain of early June, when it first happened and when I first e-mailed Hv (who, by the way, has been most kind, honorable and dignified enough to keep my identity my business.) Besides, what good would anger or some other negative attitude be at this point? I have learned through many forums on CZ that the human body is amazing and capable of repairing itself given the proper care. So I'm on the mend, I feel better and I learned a most important lesson of being responsible for myself. I don't have the background that many of you have. I wish I had your brain, Grz, when it comes to matters such as these. But as it stands, I do not. But I am learning and there are some great tutors right here on CZ.

I did not post this information on ML's site because, like I said, how can I be certain that this is what did this to me. Not to mention we all know the reaction I would have been met with and I didn't need to feel any worse. ML was never rude to me personally, but I did feel sorry for a few folks that he swatted on the nose like a bad dog with his rolled up bible (yes, I'm a believer too, but I don't judge those who do not share my views.) And, I did make ONE snide comment regarding ML's forum (not him in particular) and for that I am truly sorry. I got caught up in the banter. But it seemed to me that many of his forum patrons initiated the attacks and name calling. So again, my most heartfelt apology for an unnecessary comment to something that didn't involve me directly.

PS: I would like to publicly thank everyone on CZ that has enlightened me and tutored me, even if you didn't know I was following. Uny, Trapper, MH, ML (yes, even ML), etc., etc., etc. Special thank you, however, to Hv, who is kind, most helpful, understanding and just plain gosh-darn smart as heck. I am in awe of him and believe CZ is a much better place with him in it.

PSS: While I certainly know that my innards aren’t quite perfect yet, I haven’t had another severe attack since stopping the drink…for what it’s worth.
