I agree with Grz..concealed within your landscaping, even an aircraft flyover can't identify that you are growing food.
Study the medicinal herbs and food plants- Many of the most important medicinals are common ornamentals and/or wildflowers-
Scarlet runner beans for food, Hydrangea (for the root, it dissolves calcification in the body), Burdock root (And leaf, and seed), one of the healthiest things there is, etc.
Leeks look like lilies in the yard, Daylilies, all parts of which are edible, Kale grown ornamentally is still edible, Violets, Pansies, Nasturtiums, ornamental Peppers are edible. Amaranth for beautiful foliage and beautiful salads.. Lemongrass is pretty as well as antiviral.
I have seen hedges of Rosemary surrounding entire yards.
There are a thousand practically effortless things you can do to produce food in your space.
Make a hobby out of hand-pollinating corn and other veggies.
Take up sprouting as a hobby.
Grow and juice Wheatgrass, yumm.
Goose Grass, Knot Grass, Nut Grass, Dog Grass, Couch Grass, Oat Grass, Wheat Grass, medicinals all.
