Re: Vitamin D - Amazing - thx Folks !

If you have a Trader Joes around you they sell Wild-Caught salmon in a can.  You can also find it fresh in season at fish markets and occasionally at the grocery store.  Typically it is sold under the names of Wild-Caught or Alaskan Salmon.  Most of the other stuff out there is referred to as Atlantic salmon which is farm raised and probably not the best food choice.

In the can you can use it exactly like tuna.

I mix it with a little mayo and have it on an open face sandwich with some whole grain bread.

Another favorite thing to do with the canned salmon is to again mix it with a little mayo, garlic, hot sauce, chopped green onions and roll my own sushi with brown rice, cucumbers, avocados, and cilantro.  You will need the sushi seaweed wrappers (nori).

As soon as I get access to a video camera I plan to start uploading some alkalyzing cooking tips.

If you don't have a Trader Joe's around you here is a link to canned salmon (albeit pricier) available through Amazon.com:

Canned Wild Caught Salmon from Amazon.com

All the best,

Evan
