Re: Rededication: A Subtle Form of Idolatry...depends on the person's heart/reality

What we promise, swear to God to do is serious. We need to think long as to what we “sign”, signed a contract to do. Rededication re-devotion is a redoing of an already promised action. Either you did not do the promised action (didn’t keep your promise..your actions broke the contract) or you accomplished (ended as agreed) and you are redoing, renewing the same contract..again. The word “re”, in the posted article, seems out of place within the idea of a contract, that the author already had done, “signED”. Much confusion , errors on the signing of a deal, contract he started, originated (by his mouth) and now is breaking…Oooo the wisdom of man, us all, with doing without knowing what to do.

Questions:
What is the deal we “sign” agreed to do for salvation, our personal salvation (saving by JESUS) of (what would have been) a certain spiritual death? What did we agree, contract to believe?

And

What does the word “repent” mean…and “repentance” (an action of doing)? And what is the elements, items (laws), our personal actions we are to repent, do repentance & for what purpose… in this agreement, contract with God?

And

Which of the “10 commandments” are evil council?

Loving another’s nature, character, moral fiber are a true fact that a wise person will do, love to do. God hates sins, breaking of the laws, doing evil to another (under “the laws”) PERIOD! It (sin) is against God’s nature. Doing good (lawful) is always good.

We, as the example already in this string’s posts of a husband/wife relationship, we'll add sins (marital) against another (under the 10 commandments) . If one (husband or wife) (is a fact, truth) breaks the contract of marriage…then “love” has a big hurt, stomping applied to the heart…so do you love or hate the other’s breaking of the marriage contract (sinning against you) ? Your spouse has been “fooling around” sexually with another for several years…so do you love or hate the sin action, wrong done to you?

A pervert abuses a child love it or hate it? or murdered a family member love it or hate it? or your neighbor steals your retirerment savings or lies, as an eye-witness, about you robbing a bank and calls the police (and you did not rob the bank) and then testifies in court as a witness against you love it or hate it?

I’m not going to answer these questions for the most part…they are so simple…to feel, see, pass a personal judgment regarding an answer. But I want you to think about the next question…long and hard…because within the question…is “much“…in this flesh walk, HIS PLAN to help us see THE BIGGER PICTURE of what sin’s results will do to a soul.

Why was blood, killing of animals for sin (s) started? What was God’s reason, for animal sacrifice, and what was death (of the animal) illustrating to us for an action of sin?

And how does repentance, remorse (“if“ felt, completed ) move our mind..? To what new learning, new maturity, ? ..new future mature lawful actions of a relationship with another, others?

What’s GOD'S PLANS about for us to be more like HIM in LOVE to another with all this "walk in flesh" and HIS WORK …here and right now and for the future?
