Wow lolite!  What a story!  You know.......  someone sent me an email and told me that Heidi may very well return in another form, to be aware and keep them posted.

Since Heidi's crossing I have received so many emails with such wonderful and heartwarming stories such as yours.  Thank you. 

And...... by the way, I once had an experience such as yours when I was little, not with a pet though, it was completely different.  And my parents did not believe me.  I never forgot it and I recounted the story to my mother years later when I was taking care of her.  Even though it was the exact same story, she still didn't believe it.
