Re: Dogs' spirits
Wow. Thank you for that.
That is a controversial subject...non-human beings (a term I prefer to animals, since calling other species "animals" implies that we are not....)incarnating as humans. Many, including most religions, say this is simply not done, although in my opinion this is the human ego rasing its gnarly head once more.
Andreas says that nonhumans have the option of incarnating as humans...but most prefer not to. (I wonder why?)
Rama, my mediation teacher when I was a Lakshmi student, told us once while we were having a "class" mediation in the Hollywood Hills (yes, they do other things up there besides partying), said that the two horses in the pasture outside were very evolved, and they they would both have human incarnantions the next time around.
I don't know. In watching the human race ever since I have been a part of it (since 1946) I think that might be a step down, but that is, once again, just my opinion.
I personally go with Andreas. Once out of the body, we are all one...all equals...and won't that be a big surprise when those among us who are guilty of arrogance and discregard for other life forms meet their souls face to face in the great beyond, including those of all the little bugs that were deliberately stepped on as if their existence was meaningless ....?
