Don't read this if BM posts gross you out :)

I've been giving my dogs and chickens some DE in their food to de-worm them. It has been most effective, the pups have had some worms come out in their poop, all dead. Not huge amounts but they are there. My 19 year old is acting like a baby again, he must be feeling good after a clean out. The chickens are a bit more difficult as they just poop everywhere and I can't be bothered going around searching through it.

I decided to give myself my anual worming as well, I normally do this with Wormwood , but I decided that I would try a bit of dirt eating, rather than just the DE water I normally have. I've taken 1 heaped teaspoon every morning for the past week. I had no worms visible in BM, but... BM's have been really dark in colour and really smelly. They have been normal in consistancy and I haven't experienced any pain, bloating or gas.

I'm thinking that the DE is probably giving my bowels a good old clean out, I'm glad that stuff is out, it was really gross. Today things are back to normal, I'm going to stick with the DE for another week, just to make sure everything black and nasty is well gone.

Sorry for offending anyone , but it was an interesting experiment, has anyone else tried this??
