Yep, I give our dog perfectly good food and she'll bury it or cover it with dirt or whatever, then dig it up later for chomping. But then again, dogs eat their own puke too. BLEH! Even more digusting is she'll follow our cats around and ... oh nevermind ... too revolting to discuss!!!
