Re: stopping ACCUTANE hair loss?

Hi guys. I just got off the Accutane as of October 18, 2003. My hair was falling some earlier and I asked the Derm. to stop taking it. Well they advised me to keep on it for the last month--the nurse said that my hair would grow back. I ended up taking Accutane for a full 7 months. Ignoring my gut instinct was stupid, now my hair loss has accelerated and I'm panicking. My mom prayed for me tonight and I'm calling the Derm and my general practicioner tomorrow to see if someone will give me a cortizone shot to shock my system. For now, I bought Nioxin shampoo to try and help. Who knows. Sure, my face is clear now, but it wasn't that terrible to begin with. I'll keep ya'll updated and post what the docs say tomorrow. Oh by the way, I'm 23/f with what was the best hair in the family...shiny and thick. Not so right now. This is doing a number on my self esteem.
