I don't know but really can't see it being a problem because it seems to exert just a positive effect on the liver, and I understand it helps to rid the body of gallstones.

Further, I am now wondering if all this is related to candida and other yeast overgrowth - as someone else suggested. Apparently, candida (after taking Antibiotics ) can spread from the gut to the adrenals (and other organs), and cause them to produce too much cortisol -> increased androgens -> hair growth. I have a had a long history of taking Antibiotics from an infant on up through my teens when I got wise about them, but never addressed the candida problem so I hope to soon....
