Re: Ummmmm....
I'm not sure how this turned to abortion and sex education.
Anyway, no one said that sex was wrong, or immoral. Obviously we were created to have sex and procreate. What we were not created to do is kill our children and have sex with however many partners we felt necessary. This is what kids need to learn. They need to learn the truth. They need to be taught how to have healthy relationships, and have a healthy mind set. Kids need to be taught this from their parents. Not some government institution who does not care or love them. Everything starts at home, and home is were kids are taught to behave (in every area of life) It is not healthy to be obsessed with sex, like our society is. It is in almost every movie, every song, every magazine, every book, every billboard etc. Which in return is selling it to kids and to them at very young age. Therefore, yes it is up to us parents to teach right from wrong. And kids(teens) are not ready or mature enough to have sexual relationships, therefore the should be taught abstinence and that it is to be special, to be shared with someone you love, and idealy are married to. I agree, they should not be taught that it is wrong or dirty or anything like that, just how to go about it safely. That means, physically and phsycologically. Sex affects more than just your body.
Anyway, because I am Christian I would have to say that abortion is not 'right'. And therefore should not be legal. Yes that would open doors to illegal clinics etc. (that would not mean that the clinic would have to be dirty or unsafe, doctors should be smarter than that by now) I know too many women that have had this procedure and been scared in one way or another. One got a bad infection and was hospitalised and almost died. Another has bad cervical scarring and has had trouble carying subsequent pregnancies to term. Other women just deal with grief, shame and guilt for the rest of their lives. Is this normal?? No! From all of these women, were any of them were told what to expect from having an abortion? No! It is just like any other modern day medical procedure full of lies and misconception. Women are just told that it is a quick fix to a 'problem'. Women's bodies were not made to have 'forced abortion' it is un-natural and therefore causes undue stress physically and emotionally. Why should it be an option? Especially when there are more options to choose from that are much more safe and practical. They ban other unsafe/risky medical practices, why should this one be any different?
Enough. This is not the right place to discuss abortion or sex education. Except that Saddam Hussein should not be allowed to have sex or children. HA HA (just to lighten the mood)
