Tom, This skin solution, what else can it be used for?

Hi Tom,

You gave this compound in your previous reply:
""Mix up a sanitizing solution by putting 10 ml of the 5% sodium chlorite solution into a glass and add 10 ml of 10% citric acid . Let this mixture activate for 10 minutes, then add it to 500 ml of water. Store this out of UV light and in a cool place and it will keep for about 4 weeks.

To use this solution, saturate a folded paper towel with the sanitizing solution and hold it on outbreak areas for 1 - 2 minutes. Re-saturate before applying it to the next area.""

So, this solution can be applied to the skin! (I was hoping that it could be.)

This definitely sounds like a kinder gentler version of JH's solution to apply to skin, which I have read that JH's solution can breakdown, or weaken, the skin's cells that would cause weakening of the skin and allow easier access to bacteria and etc to cross through.

You indicated to me that it was also used by hospitals, restaurants, and meat cutters for sanitizing surfaces.

I am really glad to hear that it can also be used on the skin.

THANK YOU!
