OK! I just ordered from Mountain Rose.
So I'll be ready to tincture this coming June 22, when the moon is dark.

One Pound of Echinacea a. dried root (not powder)

The angustifolia is supposed to be stronger, so I'm not sure why we're using half purpurea, but I will try this mix.

I intend to tincture it with my favorite booze, Cheapenov Vodka, 100 proof.

Wings, from your experience, how many 1/4 cups in a pound of dried Echinacea root, as received from Mountain Rose?

The horseradish roots I buried way out in back are sending up lots of leaves, so we should be sitting pretty come fall!
