As one who is fairly new to colonics but with a history of enemas gonig back to very early chilkdhood, I strongly endorse Valerie's views. The empathy and skill as well as basic cleanliness that the colon therapist maintains are so important to a successful experience along with the right equipment. And despite detractors, the colonic is catching on, especially among younger people who'd had no enemas growing up and now wish they had when needed.
