Ozone is definitely the most effective cancer therapy ever developed. Ozone has many advantages including it selectively kills cancer cells, extremely safe when administered properly, and cancer cells CANNOT build a tolerance to ozone.

Ozone reacts with the lipids in cell membranes and with water forming lipid peroxides and hydrogen peroxides. As these peroxides enter in to cells healthy cells break down the peroxides with the antioxidant enzymes catalase, glutathione peroxidase, selenium methionine peroxidase, and superoxide dismutase. Cancer cells on the other hand lack these enzymes leading to a peroxide overload and subsequent rupturing of the cancer cell's cell membranes. In fact, natural killer (NK) cells use peroxides to kill cancer cells by injecting the peroxide in to cancer cells. The peroxides formed also increase white blood cell activity. In addition ozone stimulates the production of immune stimulating cytokines like interferons and interleukins. Another advantage of ozone is that it destroys cancer microbes. The public has not been told that nearly all cancers have a microbial trigger. The majority of these cancers are viral in origin. A report a while back in Scientific American pointed out this fact by stating that every oncogene (genes that cause cancer) ever found to date was found to be viral. And that no human oncogene had ever been found. There are also bacterial based cancers, such as one form of Kaposi's sarcoma and some fungal cancers, such as aflatoxin induced liver cancer from the Aspergillus niger fungus. Parasitical cancers are extremely rare, as are radiation induced cancers. This is one of the reasons that chemotherapy and radiation therapy fail the vast majority of the time. They kill cells at random, but do not address the microbial cause of the majority of cancers. If the microbe remains the cancer can, and most often will, return. I believe carcinogens are more growth factors after cancer forms and not the cause of the cancer. For example, Breast Cancer has been linked to the human papilloma virus. Once the cancer forms estrogenic compounds can accelerate the growth of the cancer cells. Luckily, once again we have ozone which destroys carcinogens through oxidation.

I also like ozone because it can go places where drugs and herbs cannot go. Every living human cell requires oxygen to survive. Ozone is a more radical form of oxygen. So it can get in to places such as the nerves to kill cancer forming herpes viruses, and in to the brain tissue making it a highly effective therapy for malignant brain tumors.

There are some people that do not understand ozone therapy that will claim it is dangerous because it is a free radical. Ozone stimulates the production of more antioxidant enzymes, making ozone self protective provided it is done in proper concentrations. One of these antioxidant enzymes is superoxide dismutase (SOD), which is not only antioxidant, but also anti-inflammatory (inflammation has also been linked to cancers), and immune stimulatory (production of peroxides, which activate white blood cells).

A study of ozone therapy in Germany showed an extremely safe track record. The study covered over 6.5 million doses of ozone administered. With all of these doses administered there were just over 30 adverse reactions reported. And most of these were minor, such as local irritation.

Ozone selectively inhibits growth of human cancer cells.

The growth of human cancer cells from lung, breast, and uterine tumors was selectively inhibited in a dose-dependent manner by ozone at 0.3 to 0.8 part per million of ozone in ambient air during 8 days of culture. Human lung diploid fibroblasts served as noncancerous control cells. The presence of ozone at 0.3 to 0.5 part per million inhibited cancer cell growth 40 and 60 percent, respectively. The noncancerous lung cells were unaffected at these levels. Exposure to ozone at 0.8 part per million inhibited cancer cell growth more than 90 percent and control cell growth less than 50 percent. Evidently, the mechanisms for defense against ozone damage are impaired in human cancer cells.
