Re: predicting the U.S. Election
Hi Headcase...once again you got me chuckling!
Top 5 craziest things eh? heh heh - toooo funny...I spent a while yesterday musing over your post and wondering how I could put in to words why I don't think it's so crazy, but really, my brain just ain't working that well these days! (I've got Pluto squaring my Saturn in Pisces in the 5th house of Self-Expression...???? eeek) I am just having a hard time thinking linearly!!! ack.
Anyway, I'm not even going to try to explain how I think it works (you probably know it anyway!) right now...
Yeah, definitely look into the US Sibly chart - did you find it? It should be pretty easy to find if you google it. I'm sure you'll find lots of cool things to look up! Check out the position of the planets on Sept 11, 2001...Saturn/Pluto opposition! Pluto had rounded the corner into the 1st house (one's personality, the way the world sees you -POWERFUL-, and the lens through which you look at the world - in Sagittarius - very moral/religion right/wrong black and white, idealistic thinking - has good/bad energy just like Pluto) - and Saturn was opposite in the 7th house (open-enemies)....pretty crazy.
Whenever I read biographies (love biographies on artists from 1880 to 1830!) it is SUPER easy to see what transits they are going through...because, of course, Biographies pick out the highlights of a life (good and bad) and, I always get a feeling: ah, this is totally Uranus and Venus or Pluto and Moon (etc etc) and, sure enough, plug in their birthday and the date the event happened and there it is clear as day! Very cool.
I love it that you are interested in writing a program...if I can be of any help, just let me know....I'll put on my thinking cap to see what may be interesting...
I suppose, collecting the dates when good or bad events happened to past famous people might help with compiling data...
hmm....
I haven't read Jose's book yet - what's it like?
love T
