Re: Ionic detoxification foot bath scam explained by a manufacturer
Hey, I have got to give my 2 cents on these ionic foot detox baths.
I was a believer. Went to a health practitioner and spent over 600 bucks for around 10 foot baths. I never felt any changes to me physically from using it, but still I believed. Nor, though the practitioner told me that with time the amount of toxins expelled in the water would diminish, in never did. Still, I believed. I believed to the extent that I wanted to continue with this foot detox, but had to find a cheaper means to do so.
Went to ebay and found I could buy a much superior unit to that which my doctor owned. I paid around 200 for it. Started using it at home and it worked just like the one my practitioner used. I still was a believer.
Then while browsing youtube, I was searching for examples of infestations of worms in the intestines, which is what my health practitioner said I was suffering from. During my search I stumbled upon videos about foot detox, except to my dismay these videos claimed it was a scam!! Thought still a believer, I chose to hear the opposition to what I knew and believed in.
Well, the very first video I watched. The guy showed a picture of the same unit I had purchased. He explained that he was a health practitioner of some sort and that he bought this unit and used it with his patients and he and his patients were pleased with the results. Then he decided to do an experiment in which he put not his feet in the detox bath, but instead a carrot and to his dismay he found the carrot had kidney and liver problems just like his patients and he had. He was no longer a believer. I was still a believer...but with some serious doubts.
Having to prove it to myself, I put just my pinky in the water and to my dismay found the water turned the same way as it did with just my feet in there. Hmmm. I lost all faith in the foot detox bath at that point and realized I had been scammed. Gullible am I!
Would like to warn those out there that are like me, too trusting, that they should beware!
Here is the first of a few videos the guy with the carrot put on youtube.
