Re: This is a support forum...Re: The myth of acids and muscle coontraction

Yes, I have seen Moreless go on the warpath numerous times. Anyone not agreeing with him "is doing the Devil's work". And as much as I dislike his tactics of trying to scare people away that prove him wrong, my biggest concern is the dangerous advice he gives. Whether he claims to have helped someone or not is really pretty irrelevant. Doctors claim all the time to have helped people, but how often is that the truth. If a doctor knocks back a cancerous tumor with chemotherapy until it is no longer detectable has the doctor really helped that person? If the doctor gives someone a statin drug and lowers their cholesterol have they really helped the person if they develop heart failure from the drug? The point is that a temporary relief of symptoms does not mean that a problem is cured. Nor does it mean that the recommendation is not going to cause other problems in the long run. People may feel better temporarily by doing his protocol, but what about long term effects? What damage are they going to experience from having their stomach acid neutralized? You cannot absorb vitamins and minerals properly without sufficient stomach acid. You cannot digest proteins, which can lead to allergic reactions from undigested proteins entering the blood. Lack of stomach acid can lead to dangerous microbes entering the body through the digestive system. It can also lead to infections of the actual stomach including H. pylori bacteria, and fungal Candida. It can lead to increased acid reflux from fermentation leading to an increased risk of the very dangerous and potentially deadly condition esophageal varices..... What about the dangers of consuming the caustic and extremely strong free radical hydroxides? What are the long term side effects of taking these dangerous compounds other than the cancers they can cause from chemically burning the tissues, and again the dangers of wiping out the stomach acid. So the real question is: Is he really helping these people by temporarily covering up symptoms, or setting them up for long term health issues with dangerous and incorrect advice?

If you were swimming in the ocean and I saw a shark behind you about to attack should I stay quiet because you assumed the risk of going in to the ocean. Or do I warn you because I see a clear danger and I have the opportunity to save you? I would hope your answer would be the later. Well, there is no difference here. I see a clear and present danger in the bogus advice he presents. I feel a duty to warn people. So I put the warning out there. Whether or not people choose to heed that warning is their business. I have done my part. At least I will not be guilty of promoting someones injury or death by remaining silent.
