The myth of acids and muscle coontraction

Moreless is at it again with his pseudo-scientific and misleading "evidence". First it was posting that mushrooms (fungi) growing in a acidic compost is proof that Candida albicans fungus grows in an acidic environment. His information may be useful if you ever break out with a case of mushrooms instead of Candida. Otherwise his "evidence" is worthless. The real applicable studies I posted prove that acidity not only turns off the Candida albicans growth gene, but it also keeps the Candida in its less pathogenic yeast form. Alklainity turns on the Candida growth gene and causes the Candida to convert in to its highly dangerous and pathogenic fungal (hyphal) form.

Now he is trying to argue against the fact that calcium contracts muscles and magnesium relaxes muscles. Even though this has been proven time and time again in medicine. Even pointing out to him that the muscle contraction of rigormortis is from a calcium influx in to the muscles. And the fact that CALCIUM CHANNEL BLOCKERS, which keep calcium out of blood vessel muscles, are used to relax blood vessels to lower blood pressure. His evidence?:

Pouring acid on worms is his proof?!!! ROTFLMAO!!!! Pouring calcium hydroxide (lime), a highly alkaline and caustic substance, will also cause a worm to contract. Even touching a worm will cause it to contract. Acidity has NOTHING to do with muscles contracting.

If acidity caused muscles to contract then none of us would have ever been born! The uterus is a large muscle that in a healthy condition maintains an acidic pH. According to Moreless' whacko hypothesis the uterus therefore would have to remain in a contracted condition. This would not only prevent orgasm, but also birthing as both require muscle contraction and relaxation.

Why do women crave chocolate around their menstrual cycles? Because the high magnesium content helps to relax the muscles reducing uterine cramping (menstrual cramps).

Then there is a condition known as hyperparathyroidism. In this condition the parathyroid glands release too much parathyroid hormone. This in turn breaks the bones down leading to an excess level of calcium in the blood (hypercalcemia). Side effects of hypercalcemia include muscle spasms/cramping that can be quite severe, high blood pressure from contracting blood vessel muscles, and constipation from contracting intestinal muscles.

How can we cause muscles to contract with an electrical current? It is not all of a sudden causing acidity of the lymphatic fluid as Moreless claims. If we touch a hot stove muscles contract to move our hand away from the danger. Are we instantly acidic to allow that muscle contraction? Of course not! And if we become acidic then how can we even move? After all according to Moreless' hypothesis all of our muscles should be contracted. And movement requires both muscle contraction and relaxation. Let's consider if you want to extend your arm. One group of muscles has to contract to pull the arm in the direction you want to move. Another, opposing group, of muscles must relax in order to allow the contracting muscles to pull the arm. Otherwise if they were working against each other and the arm would not go anywhere. But how can this be according to Moreless' hypothesis? It can't be. All of the muscles are being exposed to the exact same pH. So muscle contraction has NOTHING to do with acidity. It is the influx of calcium that causes muscles to contract. The displacement of calcium with magnesium allows muscles to relax. Tis that simple!!!

So why does Moreless think that he is smarter than all of the scientists and medical professionals in the entire world that know that acidity does not cause the muscle contraction? Is his ego really that big?

No wonder Moreless is constantly lying about me. He can't present facts since he just makes up his own Science as he goes along. So he resorts to his constant attacks and lies against me. Now he is insinuating that I am only disproving him to sell products here. LOL!!! Is Moreless even capable of telling the truth? I challenge him to show evidence that I have tried to sell any product here. He will never do it because I have not. I have been here freely giving of my time to educate people due to all the misinformation being presented on some boards here. Yet Moreless is selling products to alkalinize the body, even though these products can be quite dangerous. There is the truth that Moreless seeks but fails to see!!!
