I feel for you Sara. An innocent post put up to point out a clear violation of the rules turns into something that it should not be.
Someone put up a post on the Webmaster debate forum yesterday urging the Webmaster to "broadcast" this message across all forums. A call to arms, so to speak. And I don't have anything against that poster. But that is not the role of the Webmaster. He is not, nor ever should be a political pawn... Or an all knowing elitist. His job is to make sure that things run smoothly. And he has allowed us a rating system that is supposed to make the good posts rise to the top. Individual posters have the ability, if they put in enough effort, to spread the message. The Webmaster has better ways to spend his time. He has got a life, just like the rest of us.
