Re: Im so bloated I cant stand it

Have you tried Enzymes? I can't find the article/podcast related, but I'm pretty sure it was on this Byron Richards site. http://tinyurl.com/cn7gdr

The gist of it was that there is about an hour after you eat that the digestive acid is released into your stomach. Taking enzymes before, and while you eat helps to pre-digest so that when they acid is introduced it does a more thorough  job so that the digested food when it enters the small intestine will pass more easily without fermenting, and causing inflamation, which causes all the digestive problems. Also allowing the enzymes that your own body produces to do repair work instead of the digestive process.Listen to the podcasts, they are all informative, and at the end of each he answers questions that have been emailed in.

Indigestion, Heartburn, Gas, Bloating

The most common digestive complaints are indigestion, heartburn, gas, and bloating. If you lack digestive enzyme power the acid and alkali components of food chemically interact, forming gas and heartburn – otherwise known as simple indigestion. The first remedy to try is taking Digestive Enzymes before, with, or following your meal. Another common cause of gas is unfriendly bacteria or yeast fermenting your food and making gas and heartburn. This is remedied by taking GI Soother and/or Super Dophilus.

Stress tension can also tighten up your digestive tract and provoke indigestion. Extra Digestive Enzymes help, and are often combined with the GI-tract relaxing Peppermint Plus. Adequate fiber is needed to provide bulk and keep your digestive tract moving forward, thus reducing indigestion and reflux issues. Of course, anyone suffering from indigestion should eliminate all foods with artificial sweeteners, high fructose corn syrup, food coloring, and MSG and never snack on any food with refined sugar or eat after dinner at night.
