Actually, we have been doing other things that seem to be helping. I started by using an empty saline nasal spray bottle with collodial silver in it. He nose was so swollen near the front the spray wasn't getting to the back of his nasal areas. Someone suggested that we use a nebulizer, so I just got one on ebay and started the silver last night.

Also, I had limited his milk intake which didn't seem to help the bumps, but did help with his attention. So last week I started to use dye and fragrance free laundry detergent and the bumps seem to be going away.

I have scheduled to see an DAN doctor and have him allergy tested.

I have learned that the adenoids and tonsils are part of the lymph system and catch germs as they enter the body. I do not want to remove them for this reason. I have found a technique called PITA that only removes part of the tonsils and leaves a small part intact. If we decide to remove his tonsils, we will do it from one of the doctors that performs the PITA.

From what I know, if the adenoids had been in, your allergy attack probably wouldn't have been as bad. The ER doctor must not know his anatomy because the adenoids are up in the nasal area and not in the throat area. So how could they choke someone.

Also, I had my tonsils out when I was in the fourth grade and my health has not been the same since. I have developed Type 1 diabetes in a family where no one else has any type of diabetes. Also, I'm the only one out of five children who is obese. The rest are skinny. And, I have problems with my thyroid.

I remember gaining weight after having my tonsils out and my mother agreed. She said I was not any skinner than my other siblings, so the weight gain was not because of the tonsils that I was skinny to start with. I have heard of others who gained weight after having their tonsils out.
