Re: Parathyroid or Calcium Shell?
Ok good for the Trace Elements test. There should be an accompanying report listing the possibilities for the problems, in addition there should be a supplement guide or recommendation.
Dr. Watts who runs the lab is a genius and has studied thousands of profiles, his suggestions are very reliable and insightful.
There should a note of which metabalizer you are as well as if you are thyroid slow and adrenal status. I would think you are a slow metabolizer with thyroid deficient and adrenal deficient.
The low potassium and sodium are indicators of adrenal status and I would guess that since they are low you are having some adrenal slow down.
Calcium and magnesium status are generally controlled by the thyroid, parathyroid glands. The parathyroid is associated with the thyroid.
You should also pay attention to the zinc/copper balance, as well as the other trace minerals such as manganese, iron, selenium etc.
I would suspect that you are having issues with low energy, mood and weight gain.
