Calcium ascorbate is a man made vitamin C http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sodium_ascorbate

so the natural VC should not contain it.

You should consider supplementing with magnesium (use a quality one like magnesium chloride or UltraMag from Source Naturals). Magnesium deficiency will encourage calcium deposits. Use with some B6.
