God is childish superstition

For me, being an atheist makes me happy. Any other existance that doesnt involve the struggle of daily life at each stage of life ie 20's trying to impress girls, 30's finding my soul mate, 40's the struggle to raise children and my career... would be like hell. For most humans and animals, hell would be better than heaven if it was a struggle. If we lived for ever, floating or looking down surrounded by angels, that would be torture without the aims and struggle for goals that make us feel happiness in achieving. Even an animal enjoys its hunt for food and the ups and downs of that experience. Even to stay at one age would be torture. For example, being 21 forever would be torture. I am 40 and would not get the same happiness as I do watching my daughter, by going to nightclubs and kissing girls outside again. I have been through all that and tired of that. Probably vise versa also, as I would feel I was missing out at 21, if I had to look after kids on a Sat night. My parents would not want to bring kids up all over again, but love seeing their grandaughter. You see to live forever in heaven, and never age, would be like a groundhog day. We would all go mad. I hope there is no life after death, as we are all going to hell if thats the case. To cope with death, i have my own theory. I believe my mum will live on through my daughter and every now and then, someone just like her will be born. Or maybe I will live on through one of my coisins kid or something like that. If you are lucky enough to a bit of your your family tree like me, you will usually find at least 1 person you seem to very similar to.
