Re: terramin clay and toxicity question

Just found this: Terramin is a pure form of calcium montmorillonite, also known as calcium bentonite. It is sold by california earth minerals, inc. They have been selling it for 50 years. Like all montmorillonites, this one is aluminum silicate (oxide) not hydroxide. The aluminum is completely inert because it is part of the molecular structure of the silicate (cannot be chemically separated). This is the reason the FDA considers bentonites (and kaolins...also ALSI) to be "generally recognized as safe". In fact montmorillonites are used to pull heavy metals and toxins out of your body. As an all-natural tooth whitener and gum-disease-fighting agent, Terramin is superb. I have used it for years with great results.
