I would find the mineral content reported numbers suspect as the silicon content is listed as 55.3% and the Titanium content (right underneath the Silicon is listed at 67%. That = 122.3%????

Given this, it also brings the report into question...

I suspect there are some errors in % as apposed to ppm (but this is an assumption on my part). The addition of all the percentages with the exception of the Aluminum Hydroxide and Titanium is 86.26% (Aluminum and Titanium alone are 85.3%??? it cannot be both).

Adding aluminum hydroxide in at 1.83% and Titanium at 6.7% gives us 94.79% which sounds like it could be more in the ballpark given the other numbers in the report... but one cannot be sure. One sample to the next would also vary in composition.

The rest of the report has mostly positive information in regard to the clay, with some negative. I think we need to use some common sense with any therapy and take the clay in small amounts. I started by taking a tablespoon a day internally; I am getting the same results with a teaspoon. This is reflected in the report as well. More is not always better.

The bottom line is that if one is not comfortable with a therapy or "supplement" do not do it. The mind has more to do with healing than the method and doubts will affect the efficacy.

relax. All bentonites and montmorillonites are aluminum silicates. The aluminum is atomically bound to the silicate. It cannot be digested, and it cannot harm you.

I understand where you are coming from... Science can be confusing and I have been, and probably will be confused at times. Studies abound for and against just about anything; except what will make big business richer. Not all is as it seems on the surface.

I pretty much study then go on instinct, not what I read for or against something. I consider myself lucky to have remembered, and I still have 93 and 92 year old grandmas to question, many home remedies and much here on curezone mimics them. Elderberries were real big in my family as were sassafras, honey, blueberries etc. and maintaining your own garden and fruit trees. The old timers (farmers) in my family used to say in order to be and stay healthy you had to eat a bushel of dirt in your life time! They did too! Eating root vegetables right out of the garden without much more than a hand brushing.

In the end we need to take responsibility for our own health as you are doing, and walk the path we feel best for ourselves.

Hopefully we will all meet somewhere in the garden of health some day :-)
