Re: Hi Ptree! Please Advise!

There's always a possibility that you have some structural damage to your colon...a prolapse, strictures or ballooning. I believe an X-ray would be the only way to confirm this. Slant board, deep breathing and relaxation exercises can be beneficial in these cases. Also a thorough Colon Cleanse can help by reducing the weight of the gunk in your colon...but I appreciate your frustration with trying to accomplish this.

Have you tried goat milk yogurt?...a lot of people have less problems with it as it is closer to human milk and most are not as sensitive to it.

One thing you can try to get more out when doing the enemas or colonics...alternate hot and cold water. This helps to jump-start peristalsis and most people release more.

The gas can be the result of several things or a combination.... stress, poor food combinations, not chewing enough, lack of sufficient digestive enzymes, food allergies or sensitivities, imbalanced intestinal flora, pathogenic organisms or a toxic colon. The longer waste remains in the intestines the more it will putrify and create gas.

When you say the colonics are painful...is it cramping like you get when you have diarrhea? Does it pass when you release waste or gas? Does the colon therapist give you feedback about what you are releasing or are you able to see it?
