Re: Supporting by not telling the truth? Mods
I have been diagnosed as having both Candida parapsilopsis and candida rhodotorula, as well as Diantamoeba fragilis, based on lab analysis of bowel samples.
Nevertheless, the diet did not help me.
I cannot lie and tell it did help just in order not to "confuse" people and "support them". Yes, candida and
parasites are confusing, that's a fact, you don't help candida sufferers by making candida matters appear as simple and straightforward.
They are not, nor is there a straightforward cure for it.
Deluding people by making them believe that healing candida/sibo is easy will not help; for those who experiment no improvement from the diet, the unavoidable disapointment will be real hard to take.
honesty is always the best policy; I understood this forum was about reporting honestly what works and what doesn't.
If we are allowed to post only what conforts the candida diet theory, don't call it an open discussion forum supporting candida sufferers, call it a "closed" forum supporting the official candida theory.
This is pretty much the mindset of regular MDs: don't ever question my prescriptions, follow them blindly, cause I am omniscient.
Been there, done that, won't do it again.
