I think alot of people that fast have that problem at first. You never realize how much you spend eating until you give it up for a fast.
I always find a bunch of stuff to do. These examples might help you find something yourself to keep you busy and your mind off food.
I read (alot) color in a coloring book (very relaxing)
play video games
take long walks
play with my pets
watch movies
visit my friends (as long as it isn't when they might be eating)
Go to the library
I pick up one of my many hobbies such as crocheting, knitting, sewing, drawing, writing poetry, working on my novel
I clean out my trailer, separing things I don't need and things I can give away
I try to entertain all the small things I seem I never had time for before like reseaching a new idea for an invention
