Thanks for your reply, this forum seems pretty dead. My weight is less now, so it must have been water weight or something. My brother said he thinks people retain a little weight at first when they start to exercise because the body isn't used to the extra calorie burning yet. I have no idea what my measurements are, and I'm not sure I want to know, lol. So far my pants are fitting the same, so it's probably too early to see a difference.
I don't really care much about the numbers, but I do know that once when I exercised for a year and built up my muscles (but still had a little bit of fat that I wanted to lose), I was about 50 pounds lighter than I am now. And right now I don't have the muscles so I know I'm in bad shape. Can't wait until I start to see progress.
I know what you mean about skipping workouts, once my body is used to regular exercise, I can feel the difference if I don't keep it up.
