Thanks for the link! However, I am horribly anti-social, and the idea of being in a program like that is very unpleasant.
Sugar and flour aren't an issue with me, I use sprouted bread and don't have a sweet tooth. My weaknesses are things like ranch dressing, butter, and potatoes. Food addiction isn't the main reason I'm fasting, I just wanted to point out that it can be a useful tool for some people. The main reason that I'm fasting is spriritual, and also that I feel like crap all the time, always tired even though I sleep way too much. Feeling like crap makes it so I don't have any motivation for anything else, like exercise or eating right, or even getting up in the mornings.
I'm sure fasting isn't the best option for everyone, but for me, I believe it is the best way to get to the root of my problem.
