YAY YAY YAY! Congrats on busting that old weekend roadblock of yours! You're so right, it's just 2 silly days!!!!!
Although some may disagree, I agree that certain people definitely have a harder time with food. I myself seem to have an addictive type connection with food (maybe
food allergies trigger this?) which makes me severely envy those for whom "moderation" is easy... although there have been times when it was easy for me but then I am triggered - usually by a big meal of bad stuff and have trouble all over again.
I am still working with my food issues. My fluctuation is in about a 10-20 lb range. What I have found helpful is fasting 1 day weekly. That way if I'm good for most of the week but I start to slip - which for me triggers continuous bad eating - I fast that day and it helps me "reset" and try to get back on track.
It's not perfect, a work in progress if you will, but maybe that will be helpful to you. :)
