Forum Moderators
Being a forum moderator is not always easy.
It is an easy way to make people angry, especially if you opt to use some of the tools available, like tools for removing messages, blocking people from posting into your forum, etc.
That is why some people accept to be forum moderators, but only if able to stay 100% anonymous.
Some people are just not ready to open their email box to messages containing words like bit*ch, moro*n, idi*t, etc...
In the last 7 years of
CureZone Forums , we have had conflicts between moderators and forum visitors, conflicts between moderators and moderators, etc ...
Through those conflicts we learned that sometimes, it is best for some moderators to remain anonymous, to prevent conflicts becoming more public.
Why was DariushSweden allowed to post into the
parasites forum, once the new forum was created?
Not because he has a friend between moderators, but because a moderator thought that now, when we have 2 separate forums (one for drugs, another for herbs), there is no more reason to keep some people blocked from the herbs forum, as now everyone knows what forum is what.
The idea was to give those people who lost posting privileges on the
parasites support forum a second chance.
Now, they know that
parasites support forum is for natural/alternative remedies, so they can still contribute to that forum with their own experience, good or bad.
It is important to understand that experiences with natural/alternative remedies can be both, good or bad.
It is important to understand that moderators are not allowed to censor messages containing bad experiences, just because this is a support forum.
No remedy works for everyone, and that is especially true for natural remedies sold online, there are hundreds or even thousands of different brands, and I can tell you that I have purchased natural "remedies" in my local health food store, remedies that had absolutely no effect on pin worms, worms my own kids contracted.
There is a lot of quackery and a lot of bad "remedies" sold under the name of "natural", or "herbal".
People should always be allowed to report their own, personal experience with remedies, even if the forum is called a "support" forum.
If remedies available in health food stores in Sweden are as bad as remedies available in health food stores in Norway, (and I know they are, cause I have been living in both countries, and have been in many health food stores), then we moderators should not question personal experiences of people who might have username containing word "Sweden".
It is important to understand that different remedies are available in different countries, and this world is not just black or white, there are many shades of grey.
What is important is that people try to solve their health problem with what is available in the country where they live, and if the pharmaceuticals are the only solution available, then let it be.
At least now, we have 2 separate forums, but that doesn't mean that people who post inside one forum, should be disqualified to post inside the other one, and vice-versa.
Moderators have power to move any thread from one forum into another one, if they think that a message is more appropriate for another forum.
That said, I think there is no more reason for conflicts between people using drugs and people using herbs.
Those interested in both, should be able to post in both forums.
