I mean this in a very positive, helpful way - because it is something I've found to be true in my own life.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, they say that if you do a course of healing, and get sick again to look for an emotional root to the disease. Sometimes our bodies try to heal, but our emotions pull us back out of balance.
In the case of the gallbladder and liver, imbalance may come from hanging onto resentments, anger and not forgiving ourselves and others. I've had my best flushes where I did some emotional work along with the physical - thinking of all the things I could forgive to myself and others.
And also, when I feel done with on healing modality, I switch to another. Perhaps you might try to work with a practitioner who can give you some guidance?
