Yes, I store nuts in the freezer. I will
put rice in the freezer to kill any bug
eggs but then I store it in bins. White
rice will store a long time, brown rice
has a shelf life of a year. Beans do not
require freezing and would do better in
a cool dark place.

Here is a company we have purchased from.
They have storage which can give you some
ideas. I like the buckets and lids for
things like rice. You can put bay leaves
or Diatomaceous Earth in with the rice to
control bugs~~
