You know what's interesting though? I've always had a healthy Diet (or so I thought). I was never into fatty foods or coke (yuk!). I was a vegetarian from age 14 (till about a month ago age 32), but now think this may be the cause of my hormonal imbalance and perhaps my GStones too. I'm fair and female but not fat and forty (so-called four F causes of GS). I was chubby as a teenager but have been slim since then (especially after first GB attack!) so weight didn't cause them either.
Anyway, Ninja said she's been dieting a lot. My doctor explained that we need some fats to make good cholesterol to make our hormones. So I guess I just didn't eat enough of the right foods. Maybe not providing enough nutrition like Ninja with dieting or me with imbalanced vegie diet causes GS too?
I still believe it's possible to be a healthy vegetarian but at the moment, I need my hormones more! I hope to go back to it one day. It does suit me better!
