Re: Can you LOSE weight doing a Gall Bladder cleanse???

Hello Mother of 5 Angels! You sound like a great candidate for a gall bladder cleanse. You can read heaps of messages on this site about how wonderful it can make you feel once you've flushed all those stones out. You have to keep flushing though!

I'm no doctor but I'm sure that gall stones affect your metabolism, so yes you probably will lose weight. But personally, I would just concentrate on getting healthy and the weight will probably naturally drop off.

It's a medical fact that pregnant women are more prone to gall stones but I can't remember why (hormones or something). You've probably had your stones for years and each successive pregnancy made them worse.

6 years ago, I had "chronic fatigue syndrome" (so the dr said!), acne, a coated tongue, no energy, allergies, etc etc. My first gall bladder cleanse released a whole lot of toxic bile (dark green, foul smell) and stones. By the afternoon, my tongue was pink and clear for the first time I could remember. My Acne cleared up, my skin became smooth and supple (my husband was amazed!), my skin colour changed (from yellow-ish tinge), no more allergies. I've had great health and a very stable and active metabolism since then.

I still have stones but what I didn't realise is that you have to keep flushing till they're all out and then do a maintenance flush every year. I also didn't know about parasites.

You'll find that most of the people on this site do the olive oil and grapefruit juice ( Hulda Clark ) method. Personally I'm highly suspicious of the Coke flush as Coke is so bad for you. It probably acts like drano (you know toxic chemicals to clear your clogged household drains!).

Be gentle on your body. I prepared for my first cleanse for 2 months by going on a healthy, vegan, alkaline diet, doing enemas, taking liver support herbs. Then I fasted for 3 days leading up to the cleanse.

I haven't tried it but you might want to think about The Master Cleanse (mentioned elsewhere in this site). And see the health and lifestyle suggestions by Agnes on this page in her reply to someone's question about anti-depressants.

Remember, it took years for you to become this unhealthy so you won't clear it all in one night. But just by venturing into this forum, you have taken a big step towards taking your health into your own hands with the support of hundreds of people who know exactly what you're going through! And remember to keep posting your progress!!

Here's to health and happiness. Good luck.
