In my experience doing a UT enema can cause you to experience a laxative effect up to two hours latter. I would not do a UT enema just before bed. I try to do them when I have a couple hours to spend at home, relaxing with my feet up. I try to retain all that I can. And before implanting the urine in my colon I cleanse once or twice with a simple warm water enema. If I am constipated I add 1 Tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide.
Not every one can do a shoulder stand. Simply laying with your feet up, with some abdominal massge will move the urine along the colon.
The beneficial components of the urine will also absorb across the colon wall into the systemic circulation providing many of the benefits of oral urine therapy.
