Well what they use to fluoridate water is industrial waste, recycled through our bodies, so yes, you're right on that. There is precious little info on how fluoride can possibly benefit us though, and believe me, I've searched. The Science behind fluoride being beneficial for teeth and bones is flawed, yes, fluoride does bind with calcium but the bond is "incomplete"(for lack of a technical term), and actually serves to weaken the bone. Surely you've seen pics of dental fluorosis, even more horrifying is skeletal fluorosis.
Seriously, read "the Fluoride Deception", it's a great read, reads like a whodunnit.

Yep, fluoride is inescapable. As long as we keep the scales tipped in favor of iodine, we're good, IMO:)
