Thanks for your help, Grz, the first batch was a success. Had some friends over that buy kombucha all of the time and they said that it tasted like the real deal:)
The "mushroom", though, is not what I expected. It stayed translucent...
Anyway, I like the stuff, batch # 2 is brewing now!
