My 2 cents
I have not followed the drama in question as I do not make it a practice to frequent many of the other private forums. I have to say that I agree with you about a person being able to impart advice without following it theirselves. I do not have cancer, nor do I have a great many other conditions I am asked about in my private forum as well as on other public forums, so it would be rather rediculous for me to take all of the things I recommend for all of those various conditions.
And I will be the first to tell you that, while I do a lot of good things, I do not live nearly as healthily as I would if I did have serious health issues. So, in my opinion, yes, a smoker can say do not smoke, a drinker say don't drink, and a fast food eater say don't eat fast food, etc.
On the other hand, I do take a great many of the things I recommend and I do a great many of the things I recommend as well. And I believe that if someone is going to post information or advice in their forums that would appear to hold something up to be healthful (particularly a radicial and controversial subject such as a fruitarian diet - something I would never recommend), they should be prepared to help the person who follows such information/advice and certainly not abandon or redicule them (not that I am saying such has happened, because again, I do not know one way or another). For the most part, we are given private forums to help other CureZone members - not attack or redicule them.
