Thank you for that very good advice. If it were me in that situation, I'd definately do exactly what you say.

I'm also very glad you brought up the relationship between doctors and patients. Most of us have some choice in doctors but even if we don't like our doctors, we have to be responsible. Hiding something so major from your doctor who's trying to treat you makes me wonder why anyone would bother to go to the doctor at all.
