research before action!?!
Currently I am not following this particular therapy. For various reasons, not least that I am doing a
parasite cleanse and doubt that the two would work together so well. But I plan to start the process again as part of a maintenance program. I am not on deaths door ( I hope ), but I do get the sense that I am not totally well (complete with a disapearing re-appearing rash on my face, which gets most annoying when the 20th person of the day again asks me "whats happened to your face" ).
I don't claim to be an expert on UT, far from it. However, I first heard of this therapy 6 months ago and thought it sounded crazy. But like all crazy things I thought it would be interesting to research a little. The more I read the more it made sense. Until after much reading I took my first sip. Actually it wasn't that bad.
I know people are used to being prescribed drugs and consequently taking them without any understanding of what is actually happening. But please, if you are thinking about trying this therapy, please do your research. If you are on this forum because you think its a funny idea, I suggest that you do in fact read up on it.
People who have read the facts can understand and atleast tolerate this therapy. Otherwise it simple displays great ignorance (we've probably all being guilty of that at some point in our lives). If you are posting because you have tried this therapy for a whole week and feel it wasn't working, I suggest that you should in fact have READ more before taking the step to drink your own pee.
I don't mean to be rude but I spent hours reading about this before I even considered doing it myself. Its like finding out that cars are in fact safer than motorcycles, going out and buying a car without actually having any lessons.
While this therapy may seem simple- "drink urine and you shall be well". There is in fact a little more to it than that, and even some slightly conflicting information out there. Pick through it and you will come to understand it.
To all those who are still reading, I wish you well and hope that you find the results you are looking for. I am not going to give any links or information on books because there is a wealth of information all over the internet. It may be tiresome to pick through it, but its well worth it and you will come to understand it much better than simply browsing this forum (Though you should ofcourse come to this forum regularly ;) )
Anyway for net info on UT - www.google.com and search "Urine Therapy" + Amaroli or Shivambu. You may also include Ayurveda as part of your search and you will come to understand some of its origins.
I would love to hear from more people who this therapy has worked for. These are the posts that should be inspiring people to learn about this therapy.
When I tried this therapy I felt much better than I had previously (except for the first few days where I felt a bit ruff). I am sure in the future I will continue this therapy.
I can also adovocate using it on the skin for all sorts of skin conditions. You will need to experiment as to which is best for you. Old urine, new urine, and even the strength of the urine (eg time of day). The same is also true for your hair, last time I used it on my hair girls kept wanting to stroke my head, because it looked so healthy, soft and above all natural ( I didn't tell them what I had washed it with, but it is an insentive to use it on your hair more often :)
Another thing I poured boiling hot water all over my hand a few months ago, which would have blistered normally. I soaked my hand in urine for 30-40 mins, the next day it was softer and better looking than my other hand.
Thats enough from me now, I'm going to wash my head in urine and get lots of female attention.
Peace + Love
