Chills: understatement!!
I have followed this thread since the beginning and have seen the complete turn-around transformation of the poster, from the concerned initial question, to the angry response when someone dares to point out that this little girl's behavior is far from the normal exploration of a four year old.
It is absurd to expect that all responses on a board such as this one will be sweet and syrupy encouragement for the poster without pointing out that her child is demonstrating alarming symptoms. It is also quite childish to jump on Gilda who has consistently held her position that this child ought to be examined by a professional. Nothing in Gilda's tone denotes that she has any personal ill will towards the original poster ....(and indeed how ludicrous that would be!!)
Sometimes it helps to look at the posting history of a given poster in trying to understand where they are coming from. I did this and found this interesting quote by no_biz.:
""I was always been the unreliable, exaggerate person in my family and I doubt this will ever change.
the way problems were always addressed in my family could be resumed this way. whenever there was a problem, my mother subconsciously asked me to deny it, and I did. And so it goes on since I can remember if. when caught shoplifting at 15, I just had to tell her that it was a misunderstanding. when caught smoking cigarettes in the street, I told them it was the first one ever. and so on.""

So then, perhaps Gilda has 'caught' her at something, and she is acting accordingly .....(?) Hmmmmm......
