I think we are all concerned about this...

...the only one who appears relatively unconcerned is the mother. I know that if someone pointed out to me signs of sexual abuse of my child, I'd have her checked ASAP! So it's disconcerting that the mother appears to deliberately be in denial regarding possible heinous crimes on her most precious possession.

According to victims, mothers often allow this to go on rather than lose a bf/husband, but it's hard to believe a mother would put a child-abusing MAN above her own child! So sad. It's just as hard to believe a mother would do nothing for her child under these frightening circumstances.

Of course, it's not just men who abuse children. Women (even nuns!) have been known to do so.
