Re: day 5,not feeling so good

When fasting, everything should be liquid so you are not putting anythings solid into your stomach that would cause it to thinking you are eating and start the digestive process again. But if you need to take medication, you need to do what you need to do.

You might be detoxing and burning fat right now. I am on day 6 myself and I feel pretty horrible at the moment. I have a sour stomach/nausia and faint at times, but it is because my body is totally on water and I am detoxing too. When I feel that I can't go on any more on water, I take one or two sips of cranberry juice for a bit of Sugar to help me along and back to just water. I need that once in while since I work 2 jobs. So far, no cranberry sips for me and I am on day 6.

If you are fasting to lose weight, your body will detox as well. It is how the process goes as your body burns the fast, it also get rid of all the other toxins in your body as well. Pushes them out.

Feeling faint is normal when fasting especially on water, because your body is burning your fat and you have no Sugar reserves in your liver to give you that umph you need. Plus since you are fasting, you need to take it easy and not over tax yourself or you will faint. I just worked both of my jobs tonight and I feel very weak, so I need all the rest I can get. I just know at work I have to be careful not to push myself too much. Most people that seriously fast, make sure they have very little to do when they fast, so they don't end up taxing their body too much and feel faint like that.

Good luck on your fast.
