James Wilson's supplements/Adrenal Axis
I don't know if they are also on his site that was given for you to look up, but I get his supplements from
http://www.futureformulations.com,
and if you haven't read it already- his book "Adrenal Fatigue in the 21st Century" is very worthwhile to have- I can read and reread it and get something different from it each time. Edit--I don't know why the link isn't going directly to his site but scroll down until you see the one that has the
http://www.futureformulations.com
link with it, that's the right one. Ok, that's weird--the 2nd one right here brings it right up, and they are typed in the same...aren't they? weird! Click on the 2nd one.
His supplements are not just the glandular rebuilders (which also includes hypothalmus, pituitary, thyroid and gonads) but he also has specific B vitamins, and other important supplements often lacking in the adrenally fatigued. A good quality Vitamin C several times a day is important.
Not cheap, but they do work well together..I didn't notice they had actually been working, until I let myself run out of them. It was noticable.
I found through muscle testing with the Alt Med Dr. I am working with--my hypothalmus was way out of whack--it's the engine for the other glands. James Wilson talks about it in his book too, but it's not just the Adrenals, it is the Adrenal AXIS- the hypothalmus, pituitary, thyroid and adrenals. I'm on natural supplements for them all, and within 3 weeks of taking more for the hypothalmus specifically, it came right around. I was also weak in the thymus (important to immune system). I would never have known had it not been for the muscle testing through the Alt Med Dr. I don't know if you have a good ND in your area, but I would have been struggling trying to do it on my own.
Nothing has ever shown up on blood tests for thyroid--he picked it up as being weak immediately through muscle testing. He says he can pick things up at the cellular level before it ever hits the point that it shows up on blood tests...that's when MD's will "treat the symptoms"..but how many people do you hear MD's are treating their thyroid's for--but there's never mention of the other glands involved.
I know what you mean about fatige/sleep deprived--I'm sure that's when the extreme fatigue set in years ago and I never knew about the adrenals. Twin babies, no grandparents to help, didn't sleep through the night for a year--nursed them both for a year...tired, tired, tired. If I were anyplace close by you, I'd offer to take care of your baby just so you could go sleep!
