Re: dysbiosis and anxiety

I agree. The malabsorption plays a key role and thus is the mystery to be solved. I am stumped on how I didn't have any acidophilus/bifidus while supplementing with it for a year! What is creating the malabsorption? No parasites were detected, no candida overgrowth. I have eliminated potential allergens of wheat/gluten and dairy from my diet. Am on a pretty restricted diet as it is.
How to get the gut to absorb nutrients again? I have read in multiple places that the gut is essentially the 2nd brain. This makes sense in correlating anxiety with digestive issues.

I read for malabsorption due to Leaky Gut: "Treatments include L-Glutamine (main nutrient for cells on small intestine wall) and Aloe Vera juice. Aloe tells the immune system to stop spraying poisons into the gut (anti inflammatory) and also helps heal the gut wall." (http://www.beatcfsandfms.org/html/HealYourGut.html)
Aloe Vera has soothed my gut in the past when I would experience burning sensations, I haven't used l-glutamine for any real length of time.
