I'll be starting a 7-day water fast. The reason is I have developed very bad eating and binging habits lately, so I wanted a complete clean out so I can start a healthy journey again. I've done it once before in a retreat and felt wonderful afterwards.
At the retreat, it wasn't so hard since I didn't need to do much and just slept and read a lot. But I find it hard to do more than 2-3 days of fasting when I'm working and living my regular life. I'm not sure if your weight has anything to do with it, I'm not overweight at all and feel very weak after 2-3 days...feel some palpitation, slight fever, and don't have any energy at all.
I would like to start this blog to get help/inspiration, which would be most appreciated.
